The Gospel for Muslims

Speakers: J.D. Greear Year: 2012 Session: Breakout Session

How should the gospel be shared with a Muslim? First and foremost, we need to be reminded that every person we encounter is an image bearer of God and human just like us. There are primary obstacles for a Muslim to overcome regarding Christianity. The challenge and hope is to remain faith driven that God’s power is at work!

J.D. Greear is the pastor of the Summit Church in Durham, NC. He completed his Ph.D. in Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is also a faculty member, writing on the correlations between early church presentations of the gospel and Islamic theology. Having lived serving among Muslims, he has a burden to see them, as well as every nation on earth, come to know and love the salvation of God in Christ. J.D. and his wife Veronica live in Raleigh and are raising four kids: Kharis, Alethia, Ryah, and Adon.
